Love without Masks

Romans 12:9–10

Engaging with your local church isn’t just about attendance; it’s about active participation.

Being a consecrated Christian means diving into the heart of the church’s work, using your unique talents to express gratitude for the endless mercy we’ve received from our Savior.

But what exactly does God want from each of us? It’s important to check if what we do matches what God wants.

Take a moment to reflect: Are your actions in line with God’s desires for you? Sincerity and humility are the essence of true faith. It’s not just about what we do on the surface but how deeply it resonates within us.

Love is not just a face that you put on during service on Sunday morning. Love is to be without hypocrisy.

“Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor,” (Romans 12:9–10).

Love should be a daily commitment within the church community, not confined to a specific day. It’s about steering away from negativity and firmly holding onto goodness in our interactions and relationships.

When Paul talks about “cleaving to the good,” it’s like promising to stick to what’s good and always stand against what’s wrong. We should love deeply and always stick to what’s true.

In a genuine church family, everyone matters. Respect and honor create the fabric of this family. It’s about fostering an environment where each member feels valued, respected, and cherished.

Being a true Christian isn’t just about big acts but about showing love, truth, and care every day. Remember, true love, the kind that’s real and honest, is the best way to show we belong to Christ.
