Heavenly Father,
This morning, I am reminded of Your greatness and Your supremacy over all.
You alone deserve glory and praise, for You are the creator of heaven and earth, and Your name is to be exalted above all names.
I join the psalmist in declaring, “Not to us, Lord, not to us but to Your name be the glory because of Your love and faithfulness.”
May my life be a reflection of Your love and faithfulness, bringing honor to Your name in all that I do.
The psalmist contrasts the idols of the nations with the greatness of our God, affirming, “They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see.”
Thank You, Lord, for being a God who sees and hears His people, who is attentive to our prayers and responsive to our needs.
I take comfort in knowing that You are my help and my shield. “You who fear Him, trust in the Lord—He is their help and shield.”
May my trust in You be unwavering, knowing that You are always with me, guiding me and protecting me along the way.
In times of uncertainty, I cling to Your promises, knowing that “He will bless those who fear the Lord—small and great alike.”
May I walk in Your ways and live according to Your will, experiencing the blessings that come from a life surrendered to You.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
