Romans 3:21
Have you ever wondered how God, who is both merciful and powerful, accomplished what humans couldn’t? It’s fascinating, isn’t it?
I mean, He gave us free will, allowing us to make our own choices, yet He still offers us a way to attain eternal salvation. This incredible plan was revealed through the gospel message, and the righteousness of God is being unveiled to us right now.
Just take a moment to reflect on this powerful verse from the Bible, Romans 3:21: “But now apart from the Law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets.”
This means that the righteousness of God can be credited to you right at this very moment. Whether you’re a teenager or even in your forties like I was when I found Christ, it doesn’t matter where you stand in this world.
You could be a school teacher, the President of the United States, or someone locked up in prison for life. The amazing thing is that right now, as you’re reading this, you have the opportunity to turn away from your sins, repent, and place your faith in Jesus who died for your sins.
You see, none of us can ever truly fulfill the requirements of the law. We’re all on equal footing before God. No matter how hard we try, we can never be “good enough.”
But the good news is that we can be made right with God. Without the righteousness of Jesus Christ, we’re under a curse. Thankfully, Christ took on that curse so that salvation could be extended to us. The law demanded this action, and through Christ, we now have a way to receive forgiveness and be pardoned.
When Jesus came to this earth, His manifestation and public death were not hidden or exclusive to a select few. It was for everyone, including you.
There’s no secret crowd or privileged group when it comes to this incredible plan of salvation. It’s specifically meant for you, and it’s being proclaimed to you even now. This has always been part of God’s grand plan.
So, take a moment to ponder the magnitude of this revelation. Consider the opportunity you have at this very moment to turn to God, receive His righteousness, and find eternal salvation.
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve been; the door is open, and the invitation is extended to you. Embrace this incredible gift of grace, and let the righteousness of God shine through your life.
