Be a Glow Getter

Ever wondered how much impact your Christian beliefs could have in today’s world?

It’s a question worth exploring. In a world filled with huddles of faith, is that really what’s needed?

As a follower of Christ, your life holds the power to create a remarkable influence on the society around you. Surprisingly, even a single individual living a distinctively Christian life can bring about countless changes. This, my friends, is the demand of our times.

Rather than tucking away our faith or confining our interactions to fellow believers behind closed doors, a better approach beckons. It’s about proactively connecting with the world and allowing our deeds to radiate like a beacon for all to witness.

Matthew 5:14–16 provides a crystal-clear perspective from Jesus himself: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Pause and reflect on this: You are the light! This isn’t just about the collective church or a cluster of ministers.

Jesus’ analogy is straightforward—our world is shadowed by darkness, so much so that even the most precious treasures remain unseen. It’s a darkness that makes it impossible for those who are lost to find their way to safety.

A dire need for light emerges.

Guess who fits that role? You do. Christians are custom-made to radiate light. We were saved to stand out and be a visible representation of God’s glory.

Your design was intentional—to shine as a light, guiding lost souls to perceive reality in its true form.
