A Night Prayer Inspired by Matthew 11:29-30

Loving Father,

As I lay down to rest, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and surrender.

Your Son, Jesus, once said, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Tonight, I humbly take up His words, seeking peace and guidance in the stillness of this night.

Lord Jesus, just as you carried your yoke with grace, I lay down my burdens at Your feet.

In the quiet of this night, I ask for the strength to release my worries and anxieties, knowing that You carry them with me.

Your gentle spirit comforts me, reassuring me that I am never alone.

Help me to learn from Your example. Teach me to be patient and kind, even during life’s challenges.

May I find rest for my weary soul in the embrace of Your love.

As the darkness deepens, I find peace in knowing that Your light shines brightly within me.

May Your presence fill my dreams with hope and reassurance, guiding me towards a new day with renewed strength.

Thank You, dear God, for the precious gift of Your Son and the promise of rest that He brings.

In His name, I pray.

Amen.
