Prayer of Thanksgiving

Heavenly Father,

Today, as we come together to give thanks, I feel Your words echoing in my heart: “It’s better to give than to get.”

In this time of togetherness and gratitude, help me understand this deep truth.

You’ve shown us how amazing it feels to give without expecting anything in return.

It’s because of Your love and grace that I want to be a giver. Help me see myself the way You do, knowing I need You as my Savior.

Thank You for what Jesus did on the cross for us.

The story of Jesus, His love, and His resurrection—they’re the most important parts of my faith.

Help me live in a way that responds to His selflessness. I want to be grateful in everything I do.

Teach me how to give from my heart, starting by loving You.

Help my prayers and the way I live show my love for You.

Guide me to live like Your child, doing things that honor You and trusting You always.

I know what I do out of love for You matters forever.

Even when things are tough, help me let go of selfish wants and remember that this life is short.

I want to live for You and for others, making every moment count.

This Thanksgiving, I want to stop and think about living for something bigger than myself.

May everything I do show Your love, making a difference in Your name.

Thank You for always being there.

Amen.
