Family Blessings: A Psalm 128 Prayer

Gracious Father,

As I come before You, I’m overwhelmed by gratitude for Your countless blessings, just as Psalm 128 beautifully illustrates.

Your Word paints a vivid picture of the fruitful vine, a symbol of Your abundant provision that surrounds me.

“Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.”

In the embrace of my family, I see Your grace reflected.

They are a precious gift, a testament to Your goodness and faithfulness.

“Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.”

In You, I find my security and fulfillment, not just in material wealth, but in the richness of Your presence.

Your watchful care, like a watchman over a city, shields and guides us.

“The Lord bless you from Zion! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life!”

Help us, Lord, to continue walking in Your ways, honoring You in every aspect of our lives.

May our family thrive, growing like strong and resilient olive shoots, united in Your love.

“May you see your children’s children! Peace be upon Israel!”

Thank You for being our constant guide, our cornerstone of joy, and our reason to rejoice.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
