I Am Known Prayer: Psalm 139

My Creator,

You know everything about me.

You know when I sit down and when I stand up.

Your words comfort me, “You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.”

Your presence surrounds me, and I can’t escape it.

Even in the darkest places, You are there, guiding me.

You remind me, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?”

You formed me carefully and wonderfully.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made by You.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Guide me in the way everlasting.

Help me follow Your path, knowing You see the way ahead.

“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Thank You for knowing me completely and loving me unconditionally.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
