Gracious God,
We stand in awe of Your greatness, and with hearts overflowing with gratitude, we come before You.
Psalm 111 declares the mighty works of Your hands and the wonders of Your character. As we reflect on these verses, we acknowledge Your righteousness, faithfulness, and the enduring nature of Your covenant.
You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning, and the end.
Your deeds are full of splendor and majesty, and Your righteousness stands forever.
Teach us, Lord, to fear You, for in reverence, wisdom unfolds. May our hearts be attuned to the lessons Your Word imparts.
In moments of uncertainty, we recall Your gracious provision. You have shown the power of Your works to Your people and provided them with the inheritance of the nations.
Your promises are trustworthy, and Your precepts are steadfast.
Lord, grant us understanding as we meditate on Your Word day and night. May Your awe-inspiring deeds be etched into our minds, guiding us in the paths of righteousness.
As we seek wisdom, let it spring forth from the fountain of Your truth.
In our praises, we declare, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding.”
Fill our hearts with a holy fear that leads to wisdom, and may our lives be a testimony to Your faithfulness.
We thank You for the gift of Your Word, a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. In the name of Jesus, our Redeemer, we pray.
Amen.
