Majestic God,
In the shadow of Your glorious presence, I stand in reverence and awe of Your mighty deeds.
“In Judah God is known; his name is great in Israel. His abode has been established in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion.”
I acknowledge Your greatness and Your dwelling among Your people.
“There he broke the flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war.”
I am reminded of Your power to bring victory over every adversary. In times of conflict and struggle, You are my shield and defender, and I take refuge in Your strength.
“when God arose to establish judgment, to save all the humble of the earth.”
I find hope in Your righteous judgment and Your promise to deliver the humble. In You, O Lord, I place my trust, knowing that You are faithful to uphold Your people.
With my heart lifted in praise, I echo Your words, “Make your vows to the Lord your God and perform them; let all around him bring gifts to him who is to be feared, who cuts off the spirit of princes, who is to be feared by the kings of the earth.”
I offer my life as a living sacrifice, dedicated to Your service, for You alone are worthy of all honor and glory.
May Your name be exalted above all else, O God, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
In the matchless name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
