Dear Heavenly Father,
Good morning, Lord.
As I wake up to this beautiful Sunday morning, I feel Your presence beside me.
Thank You for the gift of another day and for the breath of life in my lungs. “This is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it”.
I am so grateful for this new day You have given me, Lord.
Father, let Your presence be felt in every corner of my life. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me”.
Cleanse me, Lord, and prepare my heart for worship.
Your love for me is overwhelming, and I am in awe of Your faithfulness.
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness”.
Thank You for Your new mercies this morning, Lord. I trust in Your unfailing love and grace.
Jesus, You sacrificed everything for me, and I want to live my life in a way that honors You.
“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me”.
Help me to carry my cross today and follow You with all my heart.
As I prepare to go to church, I ask for Your blessing on my church family and our gathering today. Let our worship be a sweet sound to Your ears, and let our hearts be united in love.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, but encouraging one another”.
May our time together be filled with Your presence and encouragement.
As I step out of my home and head to Your sanctuary, I ask for Your protection and guidance. Keep me safe and draw me closer to You with every step I take.
“The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore”.
Lord, I feel Your love surrounding me, and it compels me to come and worship You.
I long to be in Your presence with my brothers and sisters in Christ, lifting our voices and hearts to You.
Thank You for Your endless love and for always being by my side.
I commit this day to You, Lord. May everything I do bring glory and honor to Your name.
In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I pray. Amen.
