Week Two of the LifePointe TikTok Journey

Welcome back to our TikTok series! Each week, I’ll share what content we posted, the results (followers, likes, and views), and my reflections on the process.

As you can see from the image above, Week 2 went well with a few surprises! My goal is to post short-form videos weekly (mainly sermonettes and social sermons) and possibly a carousel post or two. We’re measuring organic reach only—no money spent on boosting posts.

Analyzing Week 2

I am pleased with Week 2. All the videos are performing well, with the exception of one, with each video reaching hundreds of viewers.

  • Followers Gained: 16 (all organic)
  • Total Views: 7,314
  • Total Post Likes: 418

Tip of the Week: Repost, Repost, Repost

I posted a 3-minute social sermon on a Sunday night around 8 PM. The next morning it only had 3 views! Talk about disappointment. You are not supposed to delete any video you have posted from the platform since the more videos you have (even the low performers), the better the algorithm will find your target audience. I took that exact same video and reposted it the following morning. Nothing different, and it now has 634 views. Reposting the same content again is not a problem, so don’t be afraid to do it!

Also of note, I posted one video without a heading at all. My theory is that headings help grab attention. I will experiment with this again in the future, but the one without the heading performed just as well as the others.

Moving Forward

Nothing has gone viral yet, but I feel like the LifePointe page is advancing well for two weeks. Feel free to leave tips on improving reach and ask any questions you might have in the process.
