Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a heavy heart, seeking Your guidance and wisdom as I navigate the challenges of raising a teenager who is in trouble.
Thank You for entrusting me with my child. Help me to be the parent they need during this difficult time.
“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.”
Even in these tough moments, I am grateful for the gift of my child and pray that I can show them love and care, even when it is hard.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Lord, give me the strength and patience to continue teaching my child Your ways, believing that the seeds of faith and values I have planted will take root and grow.
Help me to discipline my child with love and patience, avoiding anger and harshness.
Guide me to correct them in a way that reflects Your love and truth, even when emotions run high and the situation feels overwhelming.
“Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
Lord, let Your teachings be a constant part of our daily lives, especially now. Help me to find the right moments and words to talk about You and Your Word with my child, bringing Your presence and comfort into our home.
“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.”
I pray that You teach my child and fill them with Your peace, even in the midst of turmoil. Let them grow in knowledge and understanding of Your love and grace, finding peace in Your presence.
My deepest desire is for my child to walk in Your truth, despite the current challenges. Protect them from harmful influences and guide their steps towards healing and redemption. Let them feel Your presence and know Your love in every moment of their lives.
Thank You, Jesus, for being my constant companion and guide. I trust in Your wisdom and love as I strive to be the parent my child needs during this difficult time.
Amen.
