Week 7 of LifePointe’s TikTok Journey

Welcome back to our TikTok for Churches series! Each week, I share the content we’ve posted, the results we’ve seen, and my reflections on the process.

This Week’s Update

This week, we posted five new social sermon clips, each under a minute long. The views remained steady, with each clip consistently hitting the 600-700 view mark. While none of the clips exceeded 1,000 views, I’m pleased that there were no underperformers this week.

We’ve also standardized our content style, from the font and subtitles to the hashtags and descriptions. This consistency seems to be working well, contributing to our growth.

Key Highlights

  • Followers Gained: 66
  • Total Views: 23,000
  • Post Likes: 1,737

We’re seeing steady growth in followers, views, and likes—a sign that our efforts are paying off!

TikTok Tip

TikTok provides a unique opportunity for churches to reach a younger audience, especially teens who might be on the fence about attending Sunday worship. Your videos could be the fresh perspective they need to see church in a new light.

At LifePointe, Pastor Travis Boyt’s engaging preaching style, which blends humor with serious topics, resonates well with young people. To take this further, I’d recommend creating additional content tailored to younger generations—perhaps street interviews with thought-provoking questions or casual discussions with the pastor.

Looking Ahead

We’re making solid progress and building connections with our community. While TikTok’s algorithm can be unpredictable, the key is to keep creating videos that inspire likes, comments, and shares.

Feel free to share any tips for improving reach or ask questions about TikTok engagement or other social media ministry ideas.
