Wednesday Morning Prayer

Lord Jesus,

As I sit here this Wednesday morning, I feel Your presence with me.

I know You’re here, closer than anyone else, and that brings me such blessings.

You ask me to be still and know that You are God (Psalm 46:10), so I’m taking this moment to quiet my heart.

Life can be so noisy, with responsibilities pulling me in every direction, but right now, I just want to focus on You. Thank You for being here with me. I don’t have to face this day alone, and that means everything to me.

You know what lies ahead today. You know every task, every conversation, and even the things I’m not expecting. And Lord, I confess—sometimes I let the unknown make me anxious. But You tell me not to worry, to trust You fully.

So I choose to seek You first this morning. I want to live this day for Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will take care of everything else (Matthew 6:33).

Help me to fix my eyes on what truly matters and to let go of the things that distract me from You.

Lord, give me the strength to walk through this day with grace. Where I’m weak, make me strong. Where I’m unsure, give me wisdom. Where I’m anxious, bring me Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

I know there will be moments today that test my patience, but I ask that You help me respond with love and kindness, just as You’ve always shown me.

Jesus, I pray that today I reflect Your light to those around me. Whether in my family, at work, or even in a brief encounter with a stranger, let them see You in me.

Let my words be seasoned with grace, and let my actions be a witness to Your love. I don’t want to go through this day relying on my own strength or wisdom—I need You in everything.

You’ve been so good to me, Lord. When I look back at all You’ve done in my life, I see Your faithfulness. You’ve never left me, not for one second. Even when I’ve felt overwhelmed, You’ve always been my steady rock.

So today, I choose to trust You again. I surrender my plans, my fears, and my needs into Your hands. Thank You for loving me, for guiding me, and for always being with me.

I’m so grateful for this new day, Jesus. Help me to live it for You, fully present and fully surrendered.

In Your precious name, Amen.
